In the Presence of Father Sky reflects my appreciation for nature and the connection between the natural world and human experience. As human beings, we are part of nature, surrounded by elements that sustain life and bring renewal through seasonal cycles.

In creating this piece, I reflected on my connection with Father Sky. In Navajo tradition, Father Sky represents the sacred universe where spiritual connection is made through prayer. Through prayer, we seek blessings and restore harmony within ourselves.

The many shades of blue symbolize harmony and endless blessings, while the rising sun and dawn’s orange hues represent renewal and the promise of a new day. Through this piece, I express the connection between nature, spirit, and the journey of renewal.
